A printing and marketing agency in Teesside has expanded its staff ahead of the Christmas season.
AlphaGraphics, based in Stockton, has added around 20 temporary positions across the company, including image editors and scanner and production operators, as well as four permanent positions.
Two of the four permanent positions are office-based with Christian Oxley hired as CFO, following the retirement of the previous job holder, and Colin Moore hired as IT director to support customer experience and business workflow automation goals.
Oxley, who has 20 years of experience in finance, said: “My new role will encompass everything related to finance, as well as supporting all ISO processes.
“I am particularly looking forward to discovering a different industry and (possibly) meeting many new colleagues. “
Moore, who started his career as an engineer in the RAF, added, “I will take overall responsibility for the ICT function, providing a company-level service that helps AlphaGraphics achieve its goals and objectives. “
Two permanent production positions were also filled with Sam Thompson as warehouse manager and Paul McNicholas as wide format printer.
The company, which was founded in 1993, provides printing, display and mailing services and recently acquired Class Fundraising.
Andrew Dalton, Managing Director, said: “September, October and November are our busiest months of the year, so we needed temporary staff to meet production volumes and deadlines.
“In addition, these four new permanent hires allow us to provide better service to our customers by being more efficient and, in terms of ISO, compliant with standards.
“Technology is now at the heart of our business. Last year we established our new ecommerce division – with over £ 1.5million in revenue in less than 12 months. This is all part of AlphaGraphics’ vision for the future, enabling us to fully seize opportunities and support our larger vision to deliver the best customer experience in our industry. “
