Meteorologist / Multimedia journalist | WJFW careers

Homework: WJFW uses meteorological apps capable of creating and presenting weather forecasts and analysis for our regular newsletters, website, mobile app, social media and radio partners.

Applicants must have a four-year college degree in meteorology or related disciplines.

Qualifications: We will be looking at beginner applicants. No experience needed.

A professional on-air presence, a love for winter and a genuine desire to live in the Northwoods of Wisconsin will be the first filters to reduce the number of applicants.

We think of our meteorologists as journalists. Just as important as their live forecasting skills when we make our offers will be proof that applicants are willing and able to film, write and edit visual stories.

We offer a service to a public accustomed to a difficult climate. It’s the kind of place where people are constantly checking for planned changes.

If you think you are up to the challenge, do not hesitate to apply.

WJFW is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we encourage women and applicants from ethnic minorities.

Pay rate: Employee
