Regarding TONEX for Mac/PC, TONEX is the heart of the ecosystem. Implementing AI Machine Modeling technology, TONEX allows users to model the sound of any amp, cabinet combo, or pedal and turn it into a plug-in. Users will be able to capture any tone with ease and near-real-life sonic accuracy.

Additionally, users will also be able to share their user-generated tone patterns with the TONEX community, while being able to instantly play over 1,000 premium tone patterns available through TONEX. The tones featured have all been painstakingly crafted by IK using an extensive collection of the world’s most sought after amps and pedals.

TONEX is available for Mac and PC and works either as a standalone application or as a plug-in for all major DAWs. TONEX is also available to work in AmpliTube 5, and the tone patterns will appear like normal AmpliTube equipment.

In addition, TONEX also has two main sections: Machine Modeler, where AI machine modeling tone patterns are captured and generated, and Player, where users can search, browse and play custom tone patterns.

Extensive sound editing and tone modeling

Additionally, TONEX also features extensive sound editing sections that benefit from a full EQ, noise gate, pre and post compressor, depth and presence controls, high quality reverb and Volumetric Impulse Response (VIR) from IK. Additionally, tone patterns can also be separated between captured amps and cabinets, so users can experiment with them together or individually.

The TONEX software works for both Mac and PC, and will be available in three versions. Each version is identical, although the difference is in the number of tone patterns users receive. TONEX SE comes with 200 tone patterns, TONEX comes with 400 tone patterns, and TONEX MAX comes with 1000 tone patterns.

A free version will also be available.

Announcing the TONEX app for iPhone and iPad and ToneNET

In addition to TONEX for Mac/PC, IK Multimedia is also launching the TONEX app for iPhone and iPad. Just like the TONEX software, the TONEX app is also available to act as a standalone app, or can work as an AU plug-in for all major mobile DAWs. In addition to having access to 1,000 tones, the TONEX app also allows users to access the library of tone templates from the app or desktop, meaning users can take their tones on the go. shift.

In addition to TONEX for mobile and desktop, IK is also introducing ToneNet, an online tone-sharing and social platform for users to browse, demo, download and share tones. From the start, more than 1,000 tone patterns will be available on ToneNET for download and demonstration. In addition, new tone patterns from IK as well as free user patterns from the TONEX community will be continuously released and available in real time. The standalone TONEX, plug-in and app all instantly connect to ToneNET directly from the software or app.

AmpliTube TONEX Capture from IK Multimedia

Finally, TONEX Capture allows Tone Models users to create sounds using a modern computer, standard audio interface and minimal additional equipment. IK offers an interface such as AX I/O for tone modeling thanks to its dedicated Amp Out output.

TONEX Capture is an accessory that connects to the output of an audio interface and feeds an amp at the right level. Then the feedback stage sits passively between the amp and the cab, returning a perfect copy to the interface without affecting the amp/cabin interaction. TONEX Capture is then able to have a pristine copy of your real sound, ready for TONEX modeling.
